Great idea though. for household items
Liked the idea of a sponge that is a little less eco-friendly and theoretically compostable at the end of its life. But these sponges are very thick and retain water, so they quickly smell sour. And if they smell sour, that means all sorts of bugs have gotten into the sponge. Pooh! They last a few washes but unless you bleach them the sour smell/bugs won't go away. And using bleach to clean them negates the greener lifestyle I've been trying to implement.
