Revain's description says it's for 2-3mm but the packaging says it's for 6mm. It actually works in 2-3, but my amigurumi 2.5 came out quite stiff and filled with such a tight crochet hook, which is a shame considering how delightfully soft the yarn is. I strongly recommend using this yarn with a thickness of at least 4 mm. Also, mercerized cotton seems to have a downside: the loss of large pieces of down if not properly gutted, causing the yarn to become thin in places.
