Review on 🧵 Efficient Thread Tatting: Handy Hands 3-Piece Needle Set for Ornate Designs by Amanda Castillo

I thought this tatting kit was fantastic. It comes with almost everything you need to start tatting. The needles come in a sturdy little tube for easy storage. The kit also comes with a needle threader. I think it's a good tool, it looks like any other needle threader I've seen but I've never used it. The instructions provided with the kit are very well written and include excellent color photos. There are two things I would like to change about this set. First, I would like a small spool of thread in the kit. I had to guess what type to buy as the instructions were folded so that this information could only be seen when the packaging was opened. (Alternatively, they could add the line "Everything you need to get started" so you don't buy the wrong size.) Second, the guide will teach you how to make knots, pico, and rounds. But that's all. It's not about connecting turns or doing things other than turns. The free template that comes with the instructions is a bunch of individual circles glued onto a piece of paper that you used to draw a basket, along with flower stems and leaves. (Of course circles make real flowers.) I think that's three things because I wish they would give you a better sample. This one was a very preschool remnant.
