No problem with this paper

I am not a skilled or experienced artist although I have been painting and playing watercolors for a number of years. I wanted to have a good amount of paper because I want to take my art more seriously and that seemed very valuable to me. So far, I am very satisfied. For 500 sheets of 80lb paper, this is an absolute steal. The paper has a light texture and is fun to work with. I've sketched in pencil, crayons, pastels (which I don't use very often, but wanted to try them for a simple value exercise) and I've even done light wet work with water-soluble graphite. Excellent results so far and I've got quite a bit of paper to keep me busy. The paper naturally creased a bit when using the graphite remover, but not that much - I made it light on purpose. (This wasn't a background wash, but I used a wet brush to fill in the details of the painted tree - I wanted to see how the paper would do with some moisture first). If you're a more experienced artist you're probably more picky than I am, but it's tremendous value and gives me a huge package of high quality paper to practice my skills - and it's a great feeling. I think the Sax drawing paper goes up to Β£90 and I might try that next time which is only a few bucks more. But I still think it's a great paper. EDIT: Just wanted to add that over the weekend I experimented with some water soluble graphite pencils I bought and did some background blur drawings. They weren't as heavy as watercolors, but still a significant portion of the paper got wet at times. Yes, the paper curls, but after it dries for a few minutes, I put a notebook over the drawing and pressed it down a little. The result is not exactly level, but acceptable. So in my opinion this paper can handle a fair amount of wet media, but then you need to flatten it either while it's drying or after it's dry.
