BEST kraft paper for babies

A skilful child? Take sulfite paper! This 80 pound weight is our favorite. It holds tempra paint well, active use of markers and preschool scissors. The paper does not cut your fingers, does not bleed, does not tear, does not wrinkle when drying. It stands up to watery paint, bubble art, and splatters, although ideally I'd choose something with more texture for watercolor paints. Also look out for colored sulfite paper - you'll never go back to craft paper and printer paper!

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • A bit of variety

Should it smell?

Bought this for my kids art projects after reading the reviews. I've never bought sulfite paper so maybe it's common, but it clearly smelled like death in cling wrap and permeated every sheet to our delight. It was terrible. We put it in the garage thinking maybe it just needs some ventilation like some products do. My daughter made this into a surprise birthday card for me and I couldn't get my hands on it. We then used some soap and reached for vinegar and soda to scrub the rot off her hands…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Big and chunky

I was originally going to buy the Β£90 or Β£70 paper, but I think I've noticed issues with the Β£70 paper causing shipping issues and the Β£90 paper Paper was twice as expensive as both. It's definitely a gap between what I need since I'm an active sketcher. It definitely feels a little heavier than any sketchbook I've ever drawn on and seems to work particularly well with markers (Copic and Light Marker Travel). I used to say if you painted every day. This will take around 4-5 months for a…

Premium paper is exceptionally thick and durable, has the perfect texture to play on all dry media, and erases well. Bright white paper enhances colored pencils, heavy black pencils and charcoal drawings. Measures 9 x 12 inches.

Worth the price

What can I say? this is paper And i love it haha I don't know anything about paper so I really just went through the whole process, looking at the prices and weights and just picking the one that seemed acceptable to me and it's actually pretty damn good paper. depending on what you need of course. It's pretty heavy for regular paper, but not as heavy as watercolor paper, BUT. I draw on it and it works surprisingly well. Yes, but not as much as you might think. If you're learning to draw I'd…

No problem with this paper

I am not a skilled or experienced artist although I have been painting and playing watercolors for a number of years. I wanted to have a good amount of paper because I want to take my art more seriously and that seemed very valuable to me. So far, I am very satisfied. For 500 sheets of 80lb paper, this is an absolute steal. The paper has a light texture and is fun to work with. I've sketched in pencil, crayons, pastels (which I don't use very often, but wanted to try them for a simple value…
