I bought the CB201UL pump because I was replacing a CB201UL pump that was 16 years old but had a cracked sump. The only reason I bought this pump is because I figured if the make and model were the same all the plumbing and mounting holes would match. Not correct! Some brilliant engineer changed the mounting holes so I had to drill new mounting holes to make it fit. The way the unit attaches to the stove broke my old pump in the first place. 2 small plastic tabs and 2 self-tapping screws to attach the pump and 2 liters of water. When I installed this new pump I put 2 metal brackets under the pump to support the weight so the 2 thin plastic tabs don't have to hold everything. If these brackets and associated hardware were included with this pump, it would add a whopping $2 to the cost and make the installation much more solid. From the new pump to the old, the floats on the new one look cheaper. On the other hand, the new CB201UL is quieter than the old one.
