Seamless and easy replacement for an old Beckett condensate pump

I had an old Beckett condensate pump that worked fine for 25 years but started making noise. The last straw was that one afternoon I noticed a buzzing noise. Pump Seized - Pump runs but no liquid is pumped out. After tapping the block, the float dislodged and the pump shut off. But the device felt very warm. The new pump is installed well, it is very easy to disconnect the old unit, remove the flexible hose, remove a few self tapping screws and then reverse the process with the new pump. Iโ€ฆ

Not identical to old same model pumps

I bought the CB201UL pump because I was replacing a CB201UL pump that was 16 years old but had a cracked sump. The only reason I bought this pump is because I figured if the make and model were the same all the plumbing and mounting holes would match. Not correct! Some brilliant engineer changed the mounting holes so I had to drill new mounting holes to make it fit. The way the unit attaches to the stove broke my old pump in the first place. 2 small plastic tabs and 2 self-tapping screws toโ€ฆ

I bought these to replace the exact same model pump I had in my downstairs air conditioner. The original lasted 13 years so I figured it would be a replacement. It was. These condensate pumps are not rocket science in the sense that they move water from one place to another. I was more interested in ease of installation and reliability. So here I am after 2 months. The pump took 5 minutes to install and has been working flawlessly ever since. Very quiet. I assume it will work in allโ€ฆ
