I had an old Beckett condensate pump that worked fine for 25 years but started making noise. The last straw was that one afternoon I noticed a buzzing noise. Pump Seized - Pump runs but no liquid is pumped out. After tapping the block, the float dislodged and the pump shut off. But the device felt very warm. The new pump is installed well, it is very easy to disconnect the old unit, remove the flexible hose, remove a few self tapping screws and then reverse the process with the new pump. I chose Beckett because it was easy to compare the specs of the old and new units to confirm their suitability. The new pump runs much quieter, everything is fine.
