I just got this battery, so I can't speak about how long the battery will last, but it did well powering a leaf blower in its first use. The digital gauge showing charge started at 85%, and after over ten minutes of use, ended at 57%. That's not bad considering the leaf blower drains a battery faster than any of my other DeWalt cordless tools. I like the three-digit digital gauge, compared to the three light segments on the charge level gauge on my DeWalt batteries. I think the digital gauge will help keep a more accurate tracking of how much charge the battery loses when not used for a long period of time. This battery cost less than half what a comparable DeWalt battery costs, so I got two of them. Even if they only last a few years, they will be worth the money.
