I used to use shrink tubing for car electrics; but I have nothing left in my tool box. I actually made this purchase to connect the two ends of the flushing cord together as they are cotton fiber and metal cord so I can replace the worn out cord on the pulleys that attach to my garden pole and window opening. After heating and cooling, the two butted ends of the pipe and cable were tightly connected and could not be broken. The tube actually saved me from climbing a pole in my garden.
