Review on 🔍 High-Performance 6.5 Inch Antenna MAST for Dodge RAM 1500 (2009-2019) by Gary Duncan

I got these and the black plastic antenna base for a 2012 Ram 1500. The original equipment 31 inch steel mast worked but was rusty and frankly looks very 20th century. Installing the antenna itself is very easy. Have a small wrench handy to loosen the old one. The new one is screwed on and tightened without a screwdriver. One thing I didn't like is that the flared base of the new antenna is not flush with the chrome threaded ring that holds the antenna mount and base in place. The third photo shows a small gap between the base and the ring. One minor note, but adjusting the length of the mounting screw in the new antenna would most likely fix this. All local FM stations played clearly (I don't use AM; especially 20th century). The shorter mast can lead to range losses. I will report this in a few weeks.
