I don't have any of the issues that some reviews complain about and I have a good weight on my handlebars.
After drilling a hole to attach it to the fork and installing a lock nut behind the plastic adjusting nut, it keeps my front end straight when the wheel is off the ground. I didn't have to stretch the spring much for it to work properly. I don't have any of the issues that some reviews complain about and I have a good weight on my bars. If you don't try to crank things too hard, it will do what it's supposed to. It's plastic. Not metal. So just use common sense.
