High speed - high ping
Plugged in out of the box, drivers installed from website, high speeds (higher than my old adapter and NetGear Wall Extender) but very high latency spikes (confirmed with CMD ping) which I haven't seen on mine with one NetGear power strip. Latency spikes make it unsuitable for online gaming. I'll contact support but right now it's very frustrating and I only have to use it to download games.
- Incredibly fast USB 3.0 port. Unlike other wireless USB 2.0 dongles, this product features an incredibly fast USB 3.0 connection. The maximum speed of the USB 2.0 port is only 480 Mbit/s, which the top speed of 5 GHz cannot theoretically achieve at all. But USB 3.0 is different, its transmission speed is 10 times that of USB 2.0 port, which can fully meet AC1900 Wi-Fi transmission speed requirements.
