I recently had two new kittens and wanted to try biodegradable bags to be more sustainable when collecting their litter. I filled the bag halfway, tied it up, and left it in the garage for a while, intending to throw it in the trash when I went to work. After about 6-8 hours I was pushing the bag with my shoe and it completely fell apart leaving all sorts of nasty stuff everywhere. I guess I should have read the reviews and researched more to see how quickly they deteriorate! I will not buy them again no matter how good they are for the planet.
