Decomposes in 8-12 hours not months

I recently had two new kittens and wanted to try biodegradable bags to be more sustainable when collecting their litter. I filled the bag halfway, tied it up, and left it in the garage for a while, intending to throw it in the trash when I went to work. After about 6-8 hours I was pushing the bag with my shoe and it completely fell apart leaving all sorts of nasty stuff everywhere. I guess I should have read the reviews and researched more to see how quickly they deteriorate! I will not buy…

Heterogeneous batches of product

Cannot comment on the breakdown, but the material is different from regular plastic bags. Although it's much softer and thinner, I haven't had any issues with penetrations/holes. Our dog loves to poop in the woods and the rocks/leaves/twigs didn't go through the material. UPDATED - The bags from our second purchase were terrible. They were extremely fragile and broke easily. We have to keep folding the bag in half and this morning my fingers went over it and picked up poop. Needless to say it…

Edited: Mismatched and Tearable Bags

Edited: Lately these bags are incredibly easy to tear. Double packing is a must and they usually only snap when they split the hole for you to put your hand in. Once the rupture occurs, the rupture opens without resistance and the sack collapses completely. Previous bags could hold a leaf or branch if you accidentally pick them up, but this new design absolutely couldn't. I would recommend looking elsewhere for biodegradable bags unless you want to live on the edge. First review: I've searched…
