Matches body and fairing

I like this step for my Super Duty. I have a factory tailgate step but sometimes it interferes with loading or unloading. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is the installation. The manufacturer tells you to use a 20mm deep socket, but on the Super Duty the socket will not fit on the bottom bolt because it is too long. I can bury the outlet above it, but the cutout or side access doesn't fit to install an extension or ratchet even with a swinging extension. I don't want to grind it to adjust alignment so my final choice was a short head flex head ratchet wrench which I ordered. It looks like their designers really could have planned this part better. Update: So I ordered my new, very expensive 21mm swivel head ratchet socket, which I will probably never need again and will not work either. The head of the wrench does not extend past the edge of any of the mounting bolts to seat them onto the bumper nut. A regular socket wrench won't help either, but without flexibility you still won't be able to turn a regular wrench. First I hand tightened the lower bumper bolt, and then I was able to turn it about another half turn, with a deep socket at an angle that barely touched either side of the nut, I tightened the upper nut. From the looks of it, those two screws are actually a U-bolt. When the nuts were removed from the bolts, the movement of one loose bolt mirrored that of the others. Perhaps tightening the top after partially tightening the bottom will create enough tension on the bottom to keep it taut. You already have a deep one because I don't think you need more than a stock head and extension and tighten the lower bumper bolt as far ahead of the upper bumper bolt as possible.
