Review on 🔌 MAXLINER Floor Mats 2 Row Liner Set in Black for 2016-2021 Honda Civic Sedan/Hatchback by James Prizgint

I ordered these because they were cheaper than one of the more popular brands and looked the same, but were priced competitively with another custom size manufacturer. I like that they have a fine texture with no diamond slabs or deep grooves like some others. Delivered quickly in a large box. They fit snugly into the ground and are secured with a factory bracket. The rear liners are lowered and also cover the middle section. The only problem I had was that my car had a manual transmission and the clutch pedal would sometimes get stuck over the top edge of the liner. The first time it happened was very uncomfortable. I was able to stop and reposition the mat safely and haven't had any issues for a couple of weeks. The problem became fairly constant so I decided to see if the problem could be fixed without sending them back and trying a different brand. I pressed the pedal with my hand and made a mark to show where the pedal got stuck on the mat. I took the mat off, cut along the line and pasted it into the corner of the footstool. I used a sharp utility knife to make the cut as clean and smooth as possible. There was also a ridge along the entire edge of the mat. I trim it flush with the backing when it's matte. I don't think this is a defect, just a part of the manufacturing process and the rim of the mold. I removed about 1/2" (13mm) on the mat's 8" long triangle toward the footrest. I would guess no one could tell it was changed. I believe this issue is unknown as it only affects manual transmission vehicles and most of them are automatic or CVT models. This could have been a major security issue, but it was an easy fix. I'm happy with the earbuds now but removed one star as I needed to make changes. Photos are shown after cropping. I didn't think of taking the picture sooner. The pedal will lift off the mat approximately 1/8 inch (3mm) when fully depressed.
