Solid 5 Stars. A great piece of gear that worked great from the jump. I bought this for a client and having never used this brand/device before I was a bit concerned about the quality of the product. This fear was quickly gone as soon as I received the kit and was convinced of the good workmanship. Connections are secure and reliable, and both devices are housed in rugged metal housings. Bonus points because the local/transmitter unit is powered by the remote/receiver unit via the data cable. No need for two power supplies or another power plug on or under the conference table (my use case). Going for a product with less price/features should not go, this is the USB expansion kit you need. A+ will use this kit in the future. Cable used: CAT6 STP over 50 feet with shielded connectors. I'm not sure if this kit actually uses shielding in the cable, but figured it wouldn't hurt.
