was disappointed! The thermostat was smaller in diameter than the original and the gasket was thinner. Difficult to install as it didn't stay in the case when trying to put it back on. I'm afraid it will run out over time. The original is firmly attached to the body. I had to hold the neck of the case and tried to tighten the screws with others. The temp still reads 210. The whole idea was to lower the operating temperature. It could be cheaper but the result is the same. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the mileage of the 2012 Silverado, it's time for a replacement.
