Provides useful information and instructions. There are also many interesting patterns. I only gave it 4 stars because I would have liked more patterns for men and boys. After trying the first pattern, I found a big gap in the book. The first example says to use a double loop. The problem is that there are no instructions or details anywhere in the book on what/how to do this. I find this to be a major disadvantage for a beginner and tend to discourage newbies from this hobby.
