Review on MTB Black Golf Balls by Snell by Wayde Lash

Give Dean your money now!

I play golf with a handicap of 13 on high and medium courses. I've learned to feel and see the differences between the different balls available. With my steer speed (>100 mph) I love the Taylormade TP5x and Titleist ProV1X, although I don't like losing a $4 ball or so (inevitable since amateurs and dads-to-be need diapers!). I did a lot of research on consumer balls and Snell balls in particular after getting frustrated trying different regular balls and vice balls just based on my hitting style and game. (Vice was the only direct-to-consumer provider I used). After all the research and data from various outlets I decided to try both MTB Black and MTBx. I personally think the MTB Black is the best ball. It was hotter/longer with no irons and lower rider/tree rotation than the MTBx. The MTBx was a great ball but I found I had more control with black. Both balls felt as good or even better on the racquet than the ProV1/ProV1X. I had my buddy try the balls too (handicap 17) and he also said if I blacked out the logos he would never know which ProV1 ball was vs Snell since he was playing ProV1. Save about $20 and start playing Snell Balls! Thank you Mr Schnell!
