Chinese metal low price for tube lock if not from China. Bought a new tool box that didn't have the keys to the lock. After replacing the lock with this one, I was excited to install this lock. Anyway, once the lock was installed, it was pretty easy. Hand tighten the jam nut with a wrench to secure the tube lock. The part of the latch attached to the mechanism that prevents the boxes from being opened, the Chinese latch, literally broke in half. Cheap Chinese metal. Garbage, just wasted time and money installing useless garbage.
