Buy a torque wrench and use it.
Perfect replacement but not my problem. After replacing the strut cartridges, there was a knock in the front suspension. It turned out to be an undertightened bottom ball joint stop screw, which allowed the ball joint stem to move up and down 1/8 inch. Tighten the screw at the right moment, no more clapping!
