I thought I got a very good discount on a product that hasn't been reviewed yet. What I bought instead was a lie. Although the description clearly says "adjustable thermostat", there really is no thermostat at all - just a rather flimsy "low/off/high" switch. If it was just a 400w heater it might be safe enough as it has a (weak) rollover switch. However, as it maxes out at 900W, the lack of a thermostat makes this heater annoying at best and potentially dangerous at worst. Unless you place it in the middle of a large room, on high settings it will overheat the area directly around it. The grill also gets very hot at 900 watts - hot enough to cause burns. Pros: Quiet fan, low price, rollover switch. without a thermostat.
