I bought this monitor to use as a cheap secondary display in portrait mode. At around $100 I wasn't expecting anything amazing and didn't get it. However, it does what I need. It was easy to set up and had no dead pixels. Some specific case notes: - I wouldn't want to use it for serious gaming. The refresh rate is quite low - 60Hz. - Being a widescreen display, it is quite narrow and long in vertical orientation. - The colors are fine. I got it somewhere reasonable by messing around with the settings, but it didn't look good out of the box.
