Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ FSP CMT520 PLUS E-ATX Mid Tower PC Gaming Case with 2 Tempered Glass Panels, 4 Addressable RGB Fans, ASUS & MSI Motherboard Sync by Dusty Wonsley

Great case, nice ARGB fans. but not really QC *UPDATE*

Pros: - Good solid body: uses thick sheet metal with rounded corners for all fittings/cutouts. - Stay nice and cool. I was concerned that the small vents on the front wouldn't pull in enough cool air to let in, but that's not a problem, this case stays nice and cool even in a killer Texas summer. (Note: I added three exhaust fans to the top vent) - Very cool built-in fans and aRGB controller with motherboard/additional aRGB controller connectivity. (The fan hub also supports multiple fans) - Very minimal design (professional at least for me, one of the reasons I bought it) - Tons of internal space. You really have to stuff a lot into that suction cup to feel like you need more space. - If you use quiet fans, this is a pretty quiet design* - Enough space for cable management and plenty of mounting points. - PSU "windowโ€ to demonstrate PSU selection. - Comes pretty good ready to go. - All my geek friends who saw it were impressed/a little jealous. Cons: - Cleaning this case can be a tall order. I have a lot of pets and there is dandruff/dust everywhere. Keeping this case nice and clean is a chore and requires a monthly deep cleaning with cotton swabs, particularly problematic areas are the air vents on the front and back of the front panel glass, which can be removed with a couple of screws but aren't designed for that. easy to remove/clean. A NOTICE. This case comes with a magnetic filter but the size of the filter only makes it useful for protecting against very large clumps of dust or pet hair, actual dust will enter directly even if the exhaust fans are forcing air through the filter opening. I still have quite a bit of fine dust to get out so it would be nice if there was a better filter on top (foam filter would be cool) and same goes for the front vents (which don't have a filter) - the QC fan sucks. I have to be clear that I *really* like these fans, they appear to be well made, fairly quiet and have fantastic aRGB effects. but. One of the fans in my case came out of the factory and was making a clicking/clunking noise and upon examining it I found that it had a defective connector seal that allowed it to oscillate around the magnets, making a clicking noise most of the time generated. If it weren't for that fan I'd probably give the case five stars because I'm probably just a little obsessed with keeping it clean and shiny, but the sound is absolutely awful. NOTE: I have contacted FSP to see if they can send me a replacement fan gasket or fan and update this review with the results. All in all I have no regrets buying the case, it was a huge improvement over my old NZXT s340 in every way. other than the dust filtering, but I need to find a solution for a noisy fan because it's driving me crazy. UPDATE: I contacted ShopFSP and they sent me a new fan which is pretty cool of them. They were also interested in seeing what exactly was going on with the fan so it looks like they want to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future, pretty solid!
