Yes, they're expensive, but I've never been afraid to spend good money on good tools. Of necessity they must be strong, hardened and heavy lest the drill bits shear metal resulting in the lack of real guidance. I have a drill but no centering device. I picked up a couple of these in place of the centering tool so I could have a portable tool if I needed one when I wasn't at the shop. I have absolutely no regrets for posting $$$. They match perfectly with the Heavy Duty Line Adjusters I made from 5/8 aluminum rod. They'll definitely come in handy when installing threaded brass inserts in wood or drilling straight holes in projects too big for a drill press. I am so happy with them that I know their guides will soon be another welcome addition to my shop.
