Wow! what incredible stuff! The canvas is definitely matte, thick (18 mil) and incredibly durable. We were able to install the socket without any problems. In fact, it's so strong that we couldn't tear it apart with our bare hands. Printing with a Canon iPF770 printer on "Synthetic Paper (low ink content)" and changing the paper setting on the printer from "Vacuum Grade" to "Standard". . This avoids "no paper" errors and keeps the roll properly aligned. Also 5 stars for customer service - within the hour they called to contact us about the above paper selection issue and offered to help resolve it. keep buying!
