The product was ok, but didn't help much in my application.
I was hoping this would help reduce the motor noise on my treadmill. I only tested the decibel levels with the engine running at 3, 6 and 9 mph. The running belt was removed for testing. After completely wrapping the inside of the engine cover, I checked the decibel level again. Results: 3 dB reduction at 3 mph, 1.5 dB reduction at 6 mph and 1 dB reduction at 9 mph. I was hoping for better results, especially at 6 mph.
