Terrible ringing bell Loud pendulum mechanism

I inherited the Regulator clock from my grandparents. This is not a priceless family heirloom, but a sentimental favorite. Westminster's bell and clock mechanism stopped working. I ordered these as a replacement. Bad choose. The bell sounded awful, tinny and cheap. Luckily it stopped working after about three hours and never turned on again. The movement of the pendulum makes a very loud noise, which is quite annoying. Buy something else.
