What attracted me at this point was the ability to clone my existing SSID. While not a true mesh network, it seems to work seamlessly as I move around the house. Our main WiFi tops out at over 100Mbps, but the remote office was inconsistent and clear. The first block I received was defective. Base unit and expander did not talk to each other. I was a bit disappointed with the tech support and it took almost two hours to convince them that the device was defective. Revain sent replacements. The second unit was set up and up and running in less than five minutes. We get 85 to 90 Mbps in a remote part of the house. In the basement under the same room we now have the same speeds as before, almost zero. I will add that our house is 14 years old, so there is "modern wiring”.
