Not worth the money! I wish I had chosen one of the cheaper doors. My dogs LOVE having a door just for them; they can go in and out as they please! But for me it was a NIGHTMARE! The security strip constantly slides and helps keep the door open. This autumn, many insects have climbed into the house. And this winter the lock freezes and I can't lock/unlock the doors. Inside there is always a terrible draft of cold air. Hoar frost and ice cover the whole apartment, the doors are constantly stuck open. I hate those doors, my electric bill is way higher this year and I think that dog door is to blame. I will never buy or recommend this product again.
