Review on 🔥 Optimized Zippo Pipe Lighters by Michael Hale

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This could be the last lighter you'll ever buy

Zippo lighters are the best around, period. I am a long time pipe smoker and my trusty Zippo lighter has always (and continues to) work perfectly. I've had a chrome Zippo lighter (previously customized) for over 8 years and it still works just like the day I got it. I only chose this one (same, different color) because I wanted to treat myself to a different color. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING ever broke with my Zippo and all I had to do with it was fill up the gas, change the flint, change the fuse. I dropped it, sat on it and it still works. There are many pipe lighters out there, many of them will cost you many times over and don't last long. Go ahead and explore more fancy pipe lighters, you will find that there is always something wrong with them. Zippo has been producing a quality product at a low price for generations and will continue to do so. They are 100% responsible for their product and in the unlikely event that something breaks, they will send you a replacement part FREE. Butane lighters look cool, but they don't last without costly repairs. If you need consistent performance year after year, either get matches or a Zippo, a trendy and expensive electric lighter won't last long. Go ahead, search for "major players" and see what people are saying. A few things to note: People complain about lighter spills, but that only happens if you overfill it. Add liquid until the wick is damp (no drips) and you should be fine. People complain that they can taste lighter liquid. Well, I've never had this problem. People complain that they have to refill their lighter (DUH! It's a refillable lighter). You've got enough gas for about a week, I'd say that's reasonable. I've heard it's absolutely and utterly ridiculous that you have to put out the flame too much to get it in the tobacco. When you have to suck like a vacuum to smoke tobacco, you just don't know how to fill your pipe, period. Fraction of the price, made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty. Believe me, you're unlikely to ever need to call on the warranty. Matches are great for lighting a pipe, but they're not that practical. Bic lighters are good to put in a drawer when you run out of liquid or matches. If you want a good lighter that will last a lifetime and are easy on the wallet, get a Zippo.
