When the sun is really bright. The screen isn't too visible, but the front windows aren't tinted either. Other than that, it's a really good device. Easy installation comes with a rear view camera, and the camera has an LED light for night vision. It also comes with two remote controls, one for regular use and the other for mounting on the steering wheel, which is pretty cool. I didn't have any random reboots or anything like that. In addition, the equalizer settings are quite simple. You must access it through the radio function. Apple Carplay worked great for me. And the microphone is built into the device, but there's also a slot for connecting an external one on the back.
