I used this drive to replace my Pavilion dm1 11 inch laptop hard drive and it was the perfect choice, it brought this little laptop back to life, it turns on so quickly and out I can't help but worry about putting it to sleep or hibernate like before. It's also best to use this in a laptop: you don't have to worry about damaging the drive with accidental bumps or sudden movements. Makes the laptop as quiet as the CPU fan Doesn't heat up as much as a hard drive (not really noticeable) Better battery life (the difference is huge) Light weight (almost a paperweight, which is good for mobile devices) Not really a con , but you have to be a little careful with threading them into the plastic case so you don't damage them. I've baffled myself with hard drives and haven't been entirely comfortable with SDD until now. UPDATE: It's been 2 years and still works great
