Review on 🚪 Gator Door Latch Restorer - Strike Plate in Satin Nickel by James Cowan

The adjustable part relies on two very thin metal plates on the inner panel to tighten the door. If your door frame is bent along with a door with a gap, the extra pressure needed to close the gap will also bend the metal back. The item is NOT RETURNED, so you are stuck. This will work in many cases but not in mine. It seems to be better suited for interior doors where no additional pressure is needed. The inner plate has adjustable slot retainers and notches around the slot that keep it in place while tightening the screws. This is much better suited to exterior door issues than this weaker design. The review is due to the fact that the advertisement "ALL KIND crooked doors" is incorrect in my opinion and I cannot return it. I know the latter is actually my fault, but I still don't like clinging to gear I may never use.
