This little red star comes with lights already inside so all you have to do is place it on your tree! My tree is only 3 ft tall. So it goes well on a smaller tree. However, it did not come with any instructions on how to work the timer. It has an on/off switch but we don’t know how to work the timer. The first night, it shut off after about 6 hours. Which was fine. We unplugged the tree every night and the timer too. It stays on all day now and goes into the night until I go to bed. The timer isn’t necessary for us, but you may want to get another tree topper that comes with instructions if you need a timer on yours.
