They don't make it like they used to. On 2 separate occasions these items exploded when removed from the oven. We followed the instructions. There was no contact with anything metallic, hard or cold. They just exploded in a very dangerous way, scattering glass and spoiled food all over the kitchen. We've been using Pyrex for 40 years with no problems. These newer versions appear to be buggy and dangerous.
