The filter is fine but the gasket is terrible
The gasket weighed a piece of paper so without several hands holding the gasket in place and putting the pan back on would have been impossible. I used an old gasket instead. The old (original for the car) gasket was a lot stiffer and I was able to hold it in place while aligning the bolts and holes.
