I do a 20% water change/clean out the substrate in my 55 gallon corner tank weekly. I have used several different similar aquarium cleaning pumps over the past 10 years. This is my first time with Londafish. I've been using it for about 4 months now and am finally throwing it away. On the plus side, it really works: the suction power is adequate, the gravel cleaner picks up dirt without picking up large amounts of sand, and the telescopic adjustment is convenient. The power adapter is a nice feature, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. However, I have had the pump literally fall apart several times, requiring several parts to be glued together: the gravel cleaning nozzle to the black tube adapter and the suction tube to the rotor head. Also, the screw in the pump housing kept coming loose (and getting worse) but I can't glue it back together as it sometimes needs cleaning. I have used other pumping systems in the past and have not had these problems. Although it has a power supply and was one of the cheapest pumps in Revain, I think I'll try a different brand/model next time.
