I tried using this scope at 200 meters. I used DayGo reaction targets instead of paper targets. My tucks are usually within 1 MOA. With this scope I couldn't even focus on the targets. I have a Crossfire II 4-16x - 50mm. I was able to take a closer look with my optics at 16x and with this optics at 40x. The site at 16x also seemed closer. Looking through the lens requires your eye to be at eye relief, and it was never really clear below 100 yards (then it was hardly what I would call clear or you wouldn't pass the eye test with even the largest letter) . I was unable to identify hits on reactive paper targets at 200 yards with a tripod stabilized setting of 40x (or less). It's very possible it was just the range I had. I've heard reports of this scope where people are using it to aim at paper targets. Both through Amazon and in person. The person who made me buy this was actually a sporting goods store clerk who spoke to me about how embarrassing it would be to spend another $400-600 on a different optic. Well, I'll probably spend 400-600 on optics. . The thing was garbage. I would buy it for a young child who just wants to get involved, I wouldn't recommend it for real use. I was expecting it to be of low quality but I couldn't focus at 200 meters, it didn't take much. The inability to see the spot on the jet target was even less so.
