This purchase was to replace a pair of Sperry Gold Cup drivers that were almost worn out. These Hampden Venetian slip-on loafers look almost exactly like my drivers; But as soon as they arrived I realized that they were far from being shoes of the same quality. They are not comfortable and appear poorly tailored. Also, my original Sperry Gold Cup riders were 12 million. They're 120 million tall. The padding on the rearfoot and sides is about 1/4 the thickness of my Gold Cup riders. Padding underfoot and heel is minimal at best. To be honest I regret the purchase even though I was looking for a replacement for my drivers. These are not the Sperrys I was looking for.
