I installed this on my Subaru Crosstrek a few months ago and I can tell a difference in the air quality every time I turn on the fan (AC or heat). After neglecting the air filter in the car for two and a half years, I had the great idea of looking into the cabin filter when replacing the radio in the summer. I'm very glad I did. It was blackened, covered in dust and leaves, and smelled of dusty damp filter. Before installing this new filter, I carefully sprayed/lightly coated the entire filter with my favorite body spray. When you turn on the fans for the first time, you can see that this air filter really works. If you are looking for a good inexpensive cabin air filter that will get the job done. Here it is! Highly recommended!
