Review on 🛏️ AMP Research BedStep 75301-01A - Retractable Bumper Step for 1999-2006 Silverado & Sierra 1500/2500/3500, 2007 Silverado & Sierra Classic Models (Excludes Flareside) - Black by Jeff Kersey

I've been wanting to buy this bed for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. This is a very high quality product that is very well designed and works flawlessly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bumper studs on my 2002 Silverado 2500HD weren't long enough to fit on the bed step. Luckily I have a supply of metric screws at home and it only took me a few minutes to find the right replacement screws to complete the installation. If you purchase this product, and I recommend you do so if you want easy access to your truck body, you must be prepared to install 2 additional screws 18mm or 1/2", 1-1/2" " or 2" to buy in length. If you buy 18mm bolts, factory nuts will suffice. Otherwise, you will need to provide 1/2" nuts, washers and lock washers. This has been commented on by many buyers, hence my opinion Not sure why AMP Research chose NOT to use proven new bumper mounting bolts but they don't, if new bolts were included I would rate it a 5.
