Roberton Square Head Screws are the greatest thing in the world. It's amazing how we put up with Phillips stripping naked all the time. And that there are 15 different types of Phillips screwdrivers. So if you don't use the exact right bit, it will break when it gets solid. Stupid! Square head screws never break. They just don't. This is a miracle of science over 100 years ago. Newer inventions like Torx and others are just trying to capitalize on something that was perfected a long time ago. Thank you Mr. Robertson for your great invention. The best thing about them in deck building is that they don't deduct either. In fact, you can take the boards apart years later. Good luck Phillips.
