Description of 🎨 Hillman 48274 Painted Square 2 Inch: Quality and Versatility Combined

Ideal for interior wood projects. Flat head with countersinking nibs allows the screw to drive clean and flush to the surface. Square drive for confident stick fit while driving. Not recommended for exterior projects or treated lumber. Yellow zinc finish complements most wood finishes.

Exceptional Product

The Hillman Group makes an exceptional product. The square head screws are very secure and easy to tighten. I've used them on several outdoor projects including lawn chairs and picnic furniture.

Time saving best in Screws

Square head works great. I use them to update my deck boards. Over 900 screws installed, none broken or bent. Helps to pre-drill holes and install them as evenly as possible. If you need to nail a nail they will try to slide off your driver but keep the pressure going all the way. Highly recommended after struggling with my old Philips head screws.

  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Expensive

Greatest Invention Ever

Roberton Square Head Screws are the greatest thing in the world. It's amazing how we put up with Phillips stripping naked all the time. And that there are 15 different types of Phillips screwdrivers. So if you don't use the exact right bit, it will break when it gets solid. Stupid! Square head screws never break. They just don't. This is a miracle of science over 100 years ago. Newer inventions like Torx and others are just trying to capitalize on something that was perfected a long time ago…
