Star. Once you understand how to attach it to the top of the tree it will be very pretty. The first thing I will say is the battery powered star. I think it should be a plug. The batteries last a day before the brightness drops noticeably. Another critical comment I have is that the on/off button doesn't have a timer function as it only stays on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours to save battery life. It would be helpful and convenient. And finally, the lights (on the device I received) are not at the bottom of the star. About 4 more lamps are needed to illuminate all sections. I would consider buying again if the above issues were resolved.
