I installed this skylight in our Lance motorhome with roof air conditioner. Because of this massive device, the interior of the RV was dark, and we never used air as we don't camp in areas with utility lines. This skylight did exactly what I hoped it would. We now have bright, diffuse daylight in the RV and about 100 pounds of dead weight off the roof. The skylight does not come with sealant or screws (17 required) so you will need to obtain these. I bought a kit with more screws and butyl rubber roofing tape, that's about $10 more. It was fairly easy to fit the tape into the 14" x 14" hole, the hardest part of course was removing the air conditioner and cleaning the roof. I was worried that the skylight could easily break if the screws weren't tightened properly, but it's more flexible than you might think. The lamp is made of thick plastic and should last for several years. A product I would rate 5 stars, but $83 for a stamped piece of plastic is a steep price and I took a star off for the cost (especially since you have to spend the extra money on tape and screws). And that's just the outside, if you want to trim the inside you'll have to buy the inside trim. However, the result is worth it.
