I would not recommend this product to anyone. That's why…. To replace two jacks that have been working fine for over six years but are physically awkward to use, I ordered one of these Revain models, tested it briefly (saved it as a spare) and ordered two to swap out. Replacement which I used immediately. In everyday use, I've noticed that plugging the connector (male) into the Revain hub requires more force than I'm used to, but I didn't pay attention to that. After about a week, I noticed that the flash drive I use most often with Revain hubs was not "recognized" by my computer until it was removed and reinserted into Revain once or twice. By the tenth day, he was hardly recognized. More importantly, I've found that the flash drive in question is no longer recognized when plugged directly into another hub or computer. When I read the "Computer Hardware" purchase terms on the page I ordered, hubs used once are non-refundable, so I lost the purchase price of 3 hubs. And I had to throw out a flash drive along with three hubs.
