It worked great, even for a newbie!

I managed to cut holes for lightbulbs in bottles. I have never used this type of bait before but after 2 bottles it was pretty good. I realized I don't really need all sizes, just 3/4 for bottle lights, but I found the largest 1 5/8 bit is useful for cutting a hole in the bottom of the bottle to hold a tea light to use. that's why I was happy. There are videos on youtube showing how to use them, I found it very helpful to mark the starting position of the hole, then set the drill at a 45 degree angle to basically cut into the glass, to Start with it. It tends to slip a bit initially, but the notch and slower speed will help you keep it in place. I made sure the hose kept the bits cool with a slow constant flow of water. After making the first mark at a 45 degree angle by slowly turning the bit up while continuing at a slow constant speed, I finally placed the bit on the glass and it didn't slide. I've found that pressure on the drill causes small chips to form around the hole. There doesn't seem to be any need for pressure or high speed to make the cuts. After about 3-5 minutes I drilled a nice round hole. I have been very happy with how the 7 hole drills have held up so far and hope they will bring me many more benefits. I highly recommend the bits, shipping was fast, works well and fits my cordless drill perfectly. I'll update this if I come across anything new or clarify how many holes I can get from a single drill bit. Until then Cheers and Vidimo Se!
